Just a note to say how much we enjoyed our stay. Super accommodation, lovely location. Great price. One small suggestion, a heated towel rail in the downstairs bathroom. G&S P (W Midlands) Feb 2014
We have installed a heated towel rail as suggested.
As you have asked for comments on this flat, I venture – as an ‘old’ person to say that a handrail would be best for the steps up to the kitchen and up to the upstairs bedroom. C’s Mum - aged 85 (Edinburgh) Sept 2013
Handrails have now been installed as suggested.
Would it be possible to get some plastic tumblers for the kids to use outside. My heart was in my mouth when they used the ‘good’ glasses! GH and family (Glasgow) July 2013
We have provided plastic tumblers and plates for the children!
The Apartment certainly lived up to its description and had everything we could have needed. The only exception was a freezer: this would be useful (if only for ice to accompany cocktails!)....A S C & E - 2 adults + 2 teenagers (Southport) Feb 2014
We agree that the cocktails are very important and have installed a table-top freezer in the utility area!

What a beautiful and welcoming home. Your furniture is lovely and the finishing touches are far above standard. Perfect. JG (Barrister) London July 2013
We took the bikes to Mountstuart, it was a glorious day and stopped at Kerrycroy where the kids played on the beach. We were all exhausted on our return... My 13 year old is in shock after all the exercise!! (Mr &Mrs C, mother and children aged 4 and 13) July 2013
Very comfortable beds, lovely fluffy towels and fabulous cold fridge. MC (Coatbridge) July 2013
We are so sad to be leaving ...... the apartment itself was magical. Very clean, nicely fitted out we loved every minute of being here. You really have achieved a fantastic result and you will definitely be having us back for many years. J, B, Z & T – 2 adults + 2 children Aug 2013
Had a great time in your lovely house. The milk and wine were a nice welcome and all the plants and flowers are beautiful. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone.GH and family (Glasgow) Aug 2013
We’ve had a lovely stay. Your apartment makes a fabulous holiday home. We’ve left an extra £10 to cover dishwasher tabs, tin foil, washing up liquid etc. Thanks so much. The B Family – 2 adults + 3 children (Chippenham) Aug 2013
Apartment is beautifully prepared and presented. The only thing we missed was a tea strainer to use with the very smart teapot – there’s one in the drawer now! 57 species of bird recorded on Bute & offshore – not bad for birding with a toddler! Dr DF and family (Oxfordshire) Aug 2013
We have had many holidays in Rothesay over many years and have stayed in several houses and flats. This flat however is unique for its situation, its tasteful decor, its comfort, its cleanliness and kitchen utensils that work!!! C’s Mum - aged 85 (Edinburgh) Sept 2013
Despite the weather we have spent a lovely weekend at Blairbank Apartment. The location was fabulous, as the weather changed, so did the views ..... there was always something different and interesting to see. Mrs GD and family (child aged 3) (Kilbirnie) Sept 2013
We had a lovely time here at Blairbank. Very clean and well equipped. Milk, tea bags and wine etc is a lovely touch and helps to make you feel at home. We hope to be back. The Macd. Family – 2 adults + 2 children (Edinburgh) Sept 2013
Lovely accommodation and nice and cosy. Views from front window great and enjoyed having breakfast there every morning. Owners very helpful and especially appreciated welcome pack and lift from the ferry. A lovely break thank you. EL (Edinburgh) Oct 2013
Have spent a very relaxing (and much needed!) four days here and don’t want to leave! The apartment is full of character and provides a warm and homely base from which to enjoy this lovely island. I particularly enjoyed watching the changing views from the front window and very much appreciated the little extra touches provided by the owners (e.g. the bottle of wine on arrival and the shampoo etc). Thanks for everything – will hopefully return one day. IL (Edinburgh) Oct 2013
Arriving at Blairbank Apartment we were really surprised, loved the views from the front table. Coffee and tea were provided but also everything else you need for washing or dishwashing. This is going to be a fantastic week.......We had a fantastic week............ Thank you for service and your kindness and for making this our ‘second home’. D made a film of the place so we can watch it at home. See you next year. The H Family (Holland) Oct 2013
We have had a lovely week. The flat is lovely, clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The coffee, tea and wine were very much appreciated as was the milk in the fridge. The welcome was very warm, thank you. Bute itself is beautiful! The weather was pretty kind, we never got completely soaked and we saw loads of rainbows! This is definitely a place to return to and I shall recommend it to my friends! The M Family Oct 2013
